The History

A decade ago, Nestor Mendoza set up some chairs and some ashtrays at The Tobacco Barn in Orange County and called it Cigars With Cernovich. Twenty people. Twenty-five bucks. Bring your bottle, bring your stories.Most people walked in and saw a cigar lounge. Mike Bolen walked in and saw something else. A ritual waiting to happen. Nestor saw the pull. By end of night, they were already planning the next one.That's how a certain kind of gathering forms. Not by design. By recognition.Every six to eight weeks, a different room. The same energy. Miami. Scottsdale. Napa Valley. Las Vegas. Los Angeles. What began as a modest Thursday night became a traveling salon of free thinkers and culture shapers, people who operate differently from the world around them. Notorious and noble sat in the same room. Quiet thinkers next to loud champions. Men still building their fortunes sharing an ashtray with men who run billions. No hierarchy. Only presence.Presence is the only currency that matters in a room like that.Year after year, the nights stacked up. A tapestry of personalities, philosophies, and moments that don't translate well to people who weren't there. That tapestry became the foundation for The George, the private social club Mike Cernovich and Mike Bolen opened in 2024.Cigar Night still burns. More refined now. More intentional. But the same spirit is in the room.A room full of people who change the world simply by being in it.
